January's KSER at the Co-op: Ham Radio Demonstration with Jessica Phipps

Are you looking for a new indoor hobby to pick up during the dark, cold winter months? Amateur radio, also known as ham radio, may be just the thing you need. In a change of pace from our typical musical acts during KSER at the Co-op, Jessica Phipps will be giving us a ham radio demonstration this month. Jessica, who hosts the Nightfall show on 90.7 KSER on Tuesday nights at 10:30, will tell us all about ham radio and what we need to know to get started on our own adventure on the airwaves.
