Beginning February 1, 2024 all customers using Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)/EBT cards will be able to stretch their grocery budgets even further with SNAP Produce Match! This program is made possible by the Washington State Department of Health. Our co-op applied for this grant based program with several other Washington co-ops. This goes to show that Co-op Principle #6, Cooperation Amongst Other Cooperatives, is a powerful thing!

What is SNAP Produce Match?
At over 200 participating grocery stores across the state, customers who spend at least $10 on fruits and vegetables* with their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)/EBT benefits receive an immediate $5 discount off their fruits and veggies.

How does this work?
At the register, let your cashier know you’d like to use the SNAP Produce Match. Eligible customers will receive one $5 discount per transaction and must spend at least $10 for the discount to be applied. The discount button will only work if qualifying items are included in the transaction.

Items that Qualify
Qualifying items include fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables with no added salt, sugar, or fat. Fresh and dried herbs such as cilantro, basil, and mint are not eligible.
