As an environmentalist and advocate for sustainable living, I am deeply committed to Sno-Isle Food Co-op's mission of providing ethical, locally sourced food options. The Co-op's emphasis on eco-friendly practices and community engagement resonates strongly with my values. Being part of this vibrant community has shown me the power of collective action in creating positive change.

My background as an architect, educator, and technologist equips me with valuable skills in problem-solving and systems thinking, which I'm eager to apply to the co-op's challenges and growth opportunities. I have experience working collaboratively to overcome obstacles, a crucial asset for board dynamics.

By serving on the Sno-Isle Food Co-op Board of Trustees, I aim to contribute to strengthening our community ties, expanding our environmental initiatives, and ensuring the Co-op remains a beacon in the region. Together, we can nourish both people and planet.

I have worked for community-centered companies for the past eight years, currently at the Snohomish County PUD and previously for Alderwood Water and Wastewater District. I truly enjoy the opportunity this gives me to work for a community with the goal being to deliver service while being efficient with resources. I’m interested in serving on the Co-op Board of Trustees for the same reason. Sno-Isle Food Co-op serves the community in Everett in a capacity unmatched by any other store.

I have a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology and have helped bring to life plants for clean-drinking water, wastewater treatment, and pharmaceuticals during my career. This hands-on experience will be an asset to the Co-op as they look for a new space and work to maximize the space they have.

Over the past three years, I have proudly served as a Trustee on the Board of Sno-Isle Food Co-op, and I am honored to have recently been elected Vice President. In this role, I have been deeply committed to enhancing the store's operations and amplifying our community engagement efforts. My professional background in housing and real estate development as a Project Manager has equipped me with a robust set of skills and insights. I currently oversee multiple affordable housing projects, navigating complex challenges and driving successful outcomes.

I am eager to continue leveraging my expertise to advance the Co-op's mission and values. My focus remains on supporting the store’s success through strategic and operational improvements and fostering stronger community connections. I look forward to contributing further to our shared goals and ensuring our Co-op thrives as a cornerstone of the community.

I have 25 years of experience in food processing (specifically seafood). Currently, I am the VP of Food Safety, QA and Environmental programs for OBI Seafoods. I am passionate about sustainable food and would love to apply my experience and knowledge at the Sno-Isle Food Co-op.

I do not have experience running a co-op, but I do have a BA in Business Administration as well as 35 years of experience in various management roles.  During my last 10 years at Boeing, I was the Land Use and Civics Affairs Manager, so I am very familiar with the needs of the community.  I am currently the Deputy Director of the Paine Field Airport overseeing the Administrative, Engineering, Maintenance, and Finance Divisions. I have served in various volunteer roles such as a Cub Scout Leader and Treasurer of Everett Little League.

My family and I love shopping at Sno-Isle Food Co-op! It is one of the institutions that makes Everett a great place to live.

I want to ensure that the Co-op continues to grow and serve the next generation of customers who are concerned about eating healthy, supporting local farmers, and organically grown products.

As an adult I earned my bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialty in marketing because of my interest in the grocery business. I spent two years working at Larry's Market learning a little about what to do and what to avoid. My career took a turn to HR Compensation where I stayed until retiring. I was the data owner for several large annual multi-million dollar projects. I currently volunteer for Everett Museum of History as a Docent and Curator assistant.

I support the Co-op because the products are local, a result of sustainable farming practices, and are beautifully fresh, healthy, and affordable. I am learning what I can about UPF (ultra-processed foods) and the serious medical conditions its consumption creates.

As a Trustee, I want to further educate your owners, and the general public, on the wisdom of avoiding UPF for making healthier choices and purchases from the products you offer.

Over the years, I have held a variety of volunteer positions – HIV testing & education counselor, ambassador at Mathai Botanical Gardens, patient support at Ann Arbor hospice, and most recently, helped with holiday wreath sales at Ballard Farmers Market, which provides emergency relief funds to farmers in need. I am passionate about raising awareness of the importance of eating local, healthy foods and supporting PNW farmers in any way I can. As a small business owner with ten years of Human Resources experience, I will utilize my project management, strategic planning, and communication skills as a Trustee at Sno-Isle Food Co-op.

If I am elected, I look forward to getting more involved in Everett community outreach, advocating for increased access to healthy foods, and supporting the advancement of sustainable farming.
