Attention SNAP benefit recipients:

In response to the government shutdown, the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) has announced that February SNAP benefits will be distributed to program recipients by January 20, 2019. This means that ALL February funds will be available for use on January 20 and no additional funds will be applied in the month of February.

This is a proactive decision made by the USDA to protect SNAP participants benefits while the US Government is out of commission.

For more information, please visit the USDA’s website.
