Jim's Jerseys Raw Milk Recall
Old Silvana Creamery has voluntarily recalled the following product because of potential E. coli contamination:
Jim's Jerseys Raw Milk
Sizes: 64 oz (1/2 gallon) and 128 oz (1 gallon)
Best By Date: 8/23/2024
This product was sold through retail stores in Western Washington, including here at Sno-Isle Food Co-op.
We advise the following out of an abundance of caution:
Customers who have purchased Jim's Jerseys Raw Milk with the best-by date of 8/23/2024 are urged to not consume the product and to discard it immediately.
Sno-Isle Food Co-op will issue refunds for the affected product. Please bring in your receipt or we can look up your purchase with your owner number.
The product currently on our shelves is not affected by this recall.

The problem was discovered after a sample of Jim's Jerseys with the best by date of 8/23 came back positive for toxin-producing E.coli during routine testing by the Washington State Department of Agriculture. Consumer Guidance
Consumers are urged to not drink the recalled milk and instead return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may call the company at 425-268-7961 between 10am to 5pm.
