Dawson Place is a single location that provides all the core services needed by child victims of physical abuse, sexual assault, neglect, drug endangerment, or witness to a violent crime. Dawson Place exists because EVERY child who is the victim of physical abuse, sexual assault, neglect, drug endangerment, or witness to a violent crime deserves the professional care that they need to be safe, to seek justice, and to heal.

Snohomish County’s Parent Child Assistance Program (PCAP)

PCAP, formerly known as Safe Babies Safe Moms, works with mothers to provide recovery support to build and maintain healthy, independent family lives and assure that children are in safe and stable homes. PCAP is administered by Pacific Treatment Alternatives (PTA). PTA serves Snohomish County by providing social services to at risk community members addicted to drugs and alcohol. Their focus is to reduce harm to our community and create safe pathways for suffering individuals to find healthy solutions to their problems and stop the cycle of abuse.

The Friends of the Everett Public Library provide financial support and volunteer assistance for activities, programs, and services that make the library a better place for all patrons and our community. Although the library is currently closed due to Covid-19, there is a whole host of digital services and resources available.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF SNOHOMISH County

The Covid-19 situation has amplified our need for additional support on all fronts. We are needing to increase food and cleaning supplies, among other things as we support our families. Without support from donors like you, we risk turning families away and closing our doors at a time when we’re greatly needed. We are offering discounted childcare (free to first responders and healthcare workers) during this time knowing that those who need us most are those who cannot afford to lose the opportunity to work.

Our major areas of concern include elimination of personal and institutional racism; equitable access to and opportunities in education; equitable access to and opportunities in economic development and employment; and fair and equitable treatment under the law and in our society.

Angel Resource Connection

We assist unsheltered individuals secure housing and while providing 500 meals a week, clothes, hygiene kits, and winter survival backpacks. We registers individuals with wrap-around community resources, including 211 for housing, detox, behavioral health, and various community services.

HAND IN HAND

Hand in Hand serves hundreds of children a year entering the foster system through our Safe Place emergency first response shelter, provided a stable environment for children in transition through our Selah Homes short term foster program, and empowered the community through our Village Impact Project which supports over 1,500 people a year through education, engaging activities & support services to help preserve family stability and vitality.
